Celebrity Fashion Disasters: Keener’s not looking so keen…
I don’t know about you guys, but I expect a little better out of Catherine Keener. I mean, look at her – she’s unconventionally pretty with an edge of quirky class that usually serves her well. She was a dream in Capote, a highlight in The 40 Year Old Virgin, and her performance in Death to Smoochy was utter brilliance. But here she is, looking like she skinned the upholstery off her couch. It’s possible this outfit wouldn’t be so bad if it not for those lampshade-sleeves. They look like something that should only be seen on a Bob Mackie Barbie.
