I don’t know about you guys, but I expect a little better out of Catherine Keener. I mean, look at her – she’s unconventionally pretty with an edge of quirky class that usually serves her well. She was a dream in Capote, a highlight in The 40 Year Old Virgin, and her performance in Death to Smoochy was utter brilliance. But here she is, looking like she skinned the upholstery off her couch. It’s possible this outfit wouldn’t be so bad if it not for those lampshade-sleeves. They look like something that should only be seen on a Bob Mackie Barbie.
What in the name of Baby Spice is Victoria Beckham wearing? We tried to contact the makers of Hefty Bags to see if they were taking credit for this marvelous mess, but they could not be reached for comment. Twizzlers was likewise unavailable, so we are not really sure if Posh Spice is indeed using a licorice whip for a belt. Seriously, is that a dog leash? Honestly, this looks like the result of one of the garbage challenges frequently seen on Project Runway — one of the rejected results, that is. Hey Victoria — can you say Auf Wiedersehen?
What is up with Beyonce? Her diva status usually extends to fashion, but it looks like she’s taken a radical jump from “Dream Girl” to “Fantasy Girl” — who knows, maybe this school girl look is new hubby Jay-Z’s fantasy.
It’s kind of a shame to see this indisputable siren of the stage and screen looking so frumpy in something that could be really cute. Everything’s just a little too baggy and unflattering. One thing’s for sure – Beyonce ought to pretend that whoever picked out that big balloon skirt is a member of Destiny’s Child and fire them.

The normally beautiful, poised and very well dressed Cate Blanchett is not looking quite so well dressed here.
The punch of green is a beautiful feature of the dress and dressed properly this would look amazing. However, the dress drags down her bust and makes it looks like it should reach her knees and her legs look like they should be covered.
The dress is terribly draped and makes her look like she is pregnant with maybe an alien! Why on earth her stylists and indeed her self allow Cate to go out like this is beyond all comprehension!

It certainly looks that way! The white dress with the extremely dark hair only makes her look totally washed out. The frills on the dress look like a child’s dressing up outfit not a red carpet dress.
